I played through and got the ladder ending! I really enjoyed this. I feel like you nailed the atmosphere and the music was very fitting. The part that got me the most was the people on the apartment roof.

While I don't think you need to expand it (feels like a good length for a short game) - I think if you wanted to do so, you could have the player choose where to go and get different endings based on what happened there. Or you could add previous days just so we could see more story and see the progression of the destruction. Again, I don't think you need it, but just thinking on what I would do if I wanted to make it a longer game.

Thank you for making this and sharing it! I always love a good zombie story. <3

Thanks so much for playing the game, and your kind review!

I definitely agree with you on how to expand it - the original idea I had kicking around in my head was to have the game occur on multiple days over the span of weeks, with the option to leave the crane presented at each junction.

But I was inspired to actually get around to writing and drawing it because of the O2A2 Jam and its restrictions, and I'm happy with how the idea came out within the 1000 word/1 asset limits.

Thanks again for giving my game a go!
